The DIR-816L is a Cloud Router, meaning it can be managed remotely via the mydlink Cloud service. To utilize this feature:

1. Download the mydlink Lite app from your device's app store or visit the mydlink webfaqe.
2. Create a mydlink account and register your router using the instructions provided within the app or on the webfaqe.
3. Once registered, you can monitor and manage your network from anywhere with an internet connection.
